The Japanese do invent some amazing gadgets but some gadgets do leave me wondering. One such device is the electronic bath water cleaner. This is a bathtub accessory (costs around US$400) that helps to clean the water in your bathtub. Similar to a water cleaner pump that is generally used to keep swimming pool water clean, only much smaller for your tub.

Now why would one want to clean bathtub water, you may ask? Couldn’t we just run a tub of fresh water if we needed clean water? Well, that’s just what I thought too.
