Stunning Wooden Bathtubs From Laguna
(From Trendir.com) These must be the sleekest and most elegant wooden bathtubs that I have ever seen! A group of Swiss yacht designers has come up with these ultra-modern bathtub designs, covered with a special varnish for optimal protection. As an option, you can even get Jacuzzi versions.
The Laguna tubs come in three lines right now:
- The Laguna Pearl is a free-standing tub that is designed for easy installation.
- The Laguna Spa (pictured here) has a wide rim with a pebble-filled overflow which provides a unique visual and auditory experience.
- The Laguna Basic has a rectangular shape which lets it fit easily into conventional bathrooms. Swap out your old boring tub with one of these beauties!
The tubs are made from top woods like oak, walnut and mahogany, but the designers can custom make a tub from any wood that you desire. The wood veneers are compressed together, saturated with resin and painted with a special varnish, which ensures many years of use with easy maintenance.
No mention of pricing, but I'm sure they're not cheap…
