The Vov Bathtub by Mastella is not your typical bathtub but is so unlike it in looks that you’ll probably only choose it for your home if you’re the kind of person who likes to be different. Made by the Italian company Mastella, this bathtub is egg shaped and looks like a kind of waterfall.

Although the shape and look of the actual tub is quite simple, the quirkiness lies in the cascading silver chains that fall into the bathtub much like a waterfall would. The silver chains are fastened to a runner that is mounted directly above the egg shaped bathtub, on the ceiling. While it may not sound so appealing, when you look at the bathtub, it sure is quite pleasing to the eye.

The pristine white color of the bathtub is my personal favorite, but if it is too stark for you, you can choose optional colors such as gentle pink, violet, and light blue. The delicate shading of these colors is only available for the insides of the bathtub, while the exterior remains white. All in all a very unusual, but striking looking Vov bathtub by Mastella.
