When Nothing But A Custom Made Bathtub Will Do

A bathtub is a fixture that is seen in majority of homes. In fact, most homes have not just one but several bathtubs. Although there are hundreds of bathtubs available in the markets, ranging from standard sizes to large ones, you may not always find exactly what you are looking for. Perhaps the size of the bathtub is not as big as you need, or maybe the style is all wrong, or even the color is not matching the other fixtures in your bathroom. For whatever reason you may not find the right tub for your bathroom, you can always turn to custom bathtubs to fulfill your tub needs.

People who are very tall or those who are quite heavy may find it difficult to find the right sized bathtub. Thus, custom made bathtubs are the perfect solution for them. Not only can you customize the tub to the right size, but you can also choose any shade of color that you want and even the most unusual of shapes or styles.

Custom Jacuzzi TubCustom made tubs can be fitted with various fixtures and accessories that will enhance your bathing experience. You can get air jets or water jets fitted into your custom bathtub at precisely the exact spots you would want the gentle massaging action of the jets to be. Different types of tub faucets, drains, and tub accessories can also be attached to the tub so as to increase its functionality and make it that much more useful for you.

Custom bathtubs can be made from many different materials. Some of these include marble, wood, acrylic, porcelain, and even glass. Marble bathtubs are great as built-in tubs and lend a very elegant look to your bathroom. Custom wood bathtubs are a great choice for those who want a timeless appeal to their bath and do not mind spending a little bit extra for the added luxury of a wood bathtub.

For the ultimate in luxury, some companies (like the Jacuzzi Company) even make custom high end tubs that feature a home theater in addition to video cameras and internet capabilities. Thus, you can video monitor your home or surf the internet while enjoying your refreshing bath. How's that for a custom tub!!

Good Afternoon,

I have a smaller bathroom that currently has a claw foot tub. I am looking to put a regular tub in and the size I need is 51" L x 31" W. Is this something that you can help with & what is pricing like? I have a limited budget.
Thanks for your time.

Hi,
The body tub is a company that will build a fully custom tub in your home. The tub is limited only by your imagination and can be built out of tile, glass, stone, granite, mosaics…..

Also offered is a semi custom replacement tub. It is 22" deep and at 32" wide it will fit in any bathroom with a standard 5' tub. The back of the tub is gently sloping and contoured to the body.

Hope it helps.

My wife and I are building a custom house, and would like to find out about a extra large spacious tub so we can take baths together sometimes. LxWxH is 84"x60"x24". Or would we better off building a sunken tub of that size. We would like the jets for massaging strategically placed. If necessary I can draw up the plans. Thank you and please let me know asap ?

I'm looking for a 58" bathtub. The smallest I'm seeing is 59 1/2"-60" long. Or if it can be refinished. The previous owners recoated it and its peeling off in huge pieces with each use.

Genie @ 6:47 pm

Hi! I am looking for a rectangular soaking tub, 47" x 49". Apron style, whirlpool or bubbling feature, and deep! The measurements are not flexible, unfortunately. The tub also has to be functional as a shower basin. Also, there is no space outside of the tub for steps, so that needs to be taken into consideration when figuring the depth. Can you help? dreamgenie82@aol.com
